Signal quality

The quality of the signal can be viewed on the Doodle Labs wearable module. The system is designed to provide a connection up to 10 km. The quality beyond this range is expected to be insufficient for normal operation.

If the quality of the signal within 10 km deteriorates, here are a few fixes that can improve performance:

• Rotate the position antenna to point approximately to the UAV flight path.

• Rotate the UAV yaw to position the antenna in better orientation to the GCS.

• Set up the GCS antenna into line-of-sight conditions or as close to them as possible.

• Ensure that the GCS antenna is not located near metallic structures.

Even with signal loss due to different reasons the UAV is able to operate and finish the mission, please review the Safety Parameters in Nexus to customize wanted behavior.
